The Padma Shri is the fourth most prestigious award which is given by the government of India to people for their distinctive services they have done I any field.

The award is given to people irrespective of their caste,race and religion to receive this award one must do notable service.

Smt.kamala pujari is a tribal women from koraput,odisha.she is know for her work in organic farming and traditional farming which she learnt from ms.swaminathan research foundation jeypore.she is also know for her persuasions to the people of the village to promote organic farming.which is the best way to get good harvest.

Smt.Saalumadara thimmakka aka aalada marada timakka is an Indian environmentalist from the state of Karnataka. she planted over 385 banyan trees stretching over the highway between hulikar and kudur.she also planted over 8000 trees.

Smt.chinna pilali is from small village near madurai she is know for staring a successful banking system in Tamil Nadu. she also empovered women on poverty and promoted to make savings and kalanjiam microcredit movement also received a boost from her contribution and efforts.

Daitari Naik is a 70 year old tribal man of village baitarani a village in odisha. He was know for his work for building a canal from mountain stream to water his and his neighborhood fields. It clearly took four years to build this canal and now this canal serves water to 100 acres of land in baitarani.
